5.6/10

My stay at City Club Prague was a mixed bag. The location was decent, with a 15-20 minute walk to major sights, but the service left much to be desired. The staff was unfriendly and the breakfast could use a serious uplift. Overall, it was budget-friendly, but I encountered several issues that might steer me towards finding another option next time.

Rooms
6.0
The room I had was clean, but it felt quite outdated and was a bit cramped. Plus, I had an attic room that lacked ventilation, making it feel uncomfortable at times.
Service
5.0
Unfortunately, the staff was not very welcoming. A few interactions were downright rude, which marred my experience.
Location
7.0
The hotel was conveniently located, just a short walk to the metro and within reasonable distance to the old town and attractions.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were basic and not very appetizing, so I ended up having to seek meals elsewhere. The dining area also felt a bit cramped.
Facilities
5.0
They provided basic facilities, but nothing stood out in terms of amenities or services.

6.0/10

My stay at City Club Prague had its ups and downs. The location was great, just a short walk from Wenceslas Square, but the hotel itself could use some improvements. The breakfast was quite basic and the rooms felt a bit dated, though they were clean. Overall, it was a decent budget option, but not exactly nice.

Rooms
6.0
The room was small and very basic. just a bed, wardrobe, and a couple of broken chairs. The heating worked well, which was appreciated during the chilly nights, but I was disappointed by the lack of modern comforts. no tea or coffee amenities available.
Service
5.0
I encountered mixed levels of service. while some staff members were helpful, others seemed quite reserved. I struggled to communicate effectively, as few spoke any language other than Czech.
Location
7.0
Located conveniently, I found it to be within 15 minutes of Wenceslas Square and close to public transport. however, it felt a little removed from the center's lively atmosphere.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was in the basement and a bit cramped. with standard options like cereal and ham, it was sufficient to start the day, but nothing more. I did appreciate that they had a brand new toaster.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were quite basic. the advertised '24-hour bar service' was misleading, as there was no bar counter visible. I did manage to store my luggage safely before check-in, which was a plus.

6.0/10

My stay at City Club Prague was quite pleasant overall. The hotel was clean and had a great location, but the walk back from the center was uphill, which was a bit tiring after a long day. The breakfast provided was basic yet plentiful, though the dining area felt cramped at times.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I appreciated the effective heating system, especially during the chilly nights.
Service
6.0
While some staff were friendly and offered helpful recommendations, there was a general air of coldness among the team. I found it surprising how overwhelmed the reception staff seemed with larger groups.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location was convenient for exploring Prague. It was just a short 15-minute walk to the major tourist attractions, although the return journey was steep.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was basic but sufficient. I enjoyed the variety, particularly the beans, though the dining area felt a bit crowded at times.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel provided adequate facilities. The reception's spacious layout allowed us to meet up easily as a group, which was a plus.

6.2/10

My stay at City Club Prague had its ups and downs. The rooms were clean and spacious, but the overall condition of the hotel felt somewhat outdated. The location was decent for walking to nearby attractions; however, I found some inconveniences with noise and staff interaction that were frustrating.

Rooms
6.0
My room was clean and fairly spacious, but it had seen better days. The lack of air conditioning made it quite warm, especially with street noise filtering in even with the windows closed.
Service
5.0
Some interactions with the staff were disheartening. While a few were accommodating, I encountered some who were less than friendly and seemed disinterested in helping.
Location
7.0
The hotel is positioned a 10-15 minute walk from attractions like Wenceslas Square, which was nice. Yet, the area felt a bit hidden and I had to navigate through alleys to find the right entrance.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast offered a decent selection, with eggs and sausage, but I missed having meals available throughout the day. The 'bar' was just a few snacks and drinks you could buy - not what I expected.
Facilities
5.0
Wi-Fi was only available in the lobby and intermittently so, which was not ideal. I also had to head to reception to borrow a hair dryer, and there were no kettles in the room.

5.8/10

My stay at City Club Prague had its ups and downs. The room was spacious and clean, which I appreciated, but the lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortably hot. Breakfast offerings were basic, yet sufficient to start my day. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore iconic sites like Wenceslas Square and Charles Bridge, though dealing with some of the front desk staff was less than pleasant.

Rooms
7.0
The room was quite spacious and clean, making it comfortable. However, without air conditioning, it got really hot at times.
Service
5.0
While some staff were courteous, many seemed quite unapproachable and not overly helpful during my stay.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was ideal, being just a short walk from the metro and various tourist attractions. This made getting around the city quite easy.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was okay with a selection of meats and breads. However, I found it lacking in fruit and variety, making it less exciting each morning.
Facilities
6.0
Basic but fine. Wi-Fi was available in the lobby, and the room amenities were functional, which sufficed for my needs.
